Lord, we pray this outreach project will worship, serve, and reach people who don’t know you yet.
Thank you for stirring people’s hearts with your presence in all of the games and activities in Seattle, and all across the United States, Canada, and Mexico during the 2026 World Cup Tournament.
We pray for every church, ministry, and follower of Jesus who will be sharing and demonstrating the love and the good news of the Gospel to people coming into Seattle.
Additionally, we pray for people around the globe to receive your free gift of salvation and healing in body, mind, and spirit.
Lastly, we pray for lasting impact and transformation as a city and a community that will remember this moment and say “this was not just a tournament, it was a turning point for our city!”

DAILY PRAYER PROMPTS
Purpose: To continually pray to lift Greater Seattle before God, with some specifics as we anticipate the World Cup impact on our communities and city.
Peace & Safety
Pray for divine peace over neighborhoods, streets, and public spaces.
Churches & Community
That local churches would awaken to serve and reach out. Unity among churches; opportunities for collaboration in hospitality and outreach. That efforts would glorify and honor God.
Protection of Vulnerable People
Pray for the homeless, refugees, children, and those at risk.
Transformation, Restoration & Healing
Pray for Jesus to ignite hearts, bring transformation, and restore brokenness.
World Cup Preparation & Logistics
Pray for those working at a city, regional, or organizational level (FIFA officials, local authorities, volunteer coordinators, stadium and transport teams).
INTERCESSORY PRAYER GUIDE
Pray for Victory Beyond the Cup initiatives and community engagement programs, that they would reflect God’s love and hospitality.
Pray for the management of resources, safety, and smooth coordination, asking God to bless all plans.
Pray for the citywide ministry coordinators and individuals hosting watch parties in their homes, churches, or place of work.
Pray for the individual teams that will be playing in Seattle and for the fans that will be coming that represent this country or people group.
Pray for the countries they represent to come to know Christ. Pray for teams from Belgium, Egypt, Australia, USA, Qatar and Iran.
Pray for the cities hosting a stadium event:
Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterey, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Atlanta, Miami, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, New York/New Jersey, Minneapolis (not hosting game, but a stadium event)
Pray for individual watch parties in people’s homes where they will build relationships and have spiritual conversations, and that people will come to know God.
Pray for those who make a commitment to Christ to get plugged in to a ministry and to be discipled properly.
Pray for churches that host watch parties—that commitments to Christ would be made and spiritual seeds would be planted in peoples’ lives.
Pray for the stadium projects at each of the six Seattle games where believers will interact with 7000 people to have prayers offered by the prayer request team. Pray for this to happen in all of the other host cities around their stadiums.
Pray that evangelistic events featuring Christian concerts would occur in stadiums in other cities during halftime, bringing transformation and celebration.
Pray for revival and renewal to occur across the US, Mexico, and Canada, especially in the cities where the games are being held.
Pray for the 5 billion people that will be watching the games globally, that they hear the gospel during or after a game and that people come to know Christ and take their next step spiritually.
Pray for God to move the hearts of people to donate financial fuel to make all of this happen and to do ministry to serve others. Pray for believers to catch the vision and receive all the tools and resources needed.
Pray for ministries like Alpha and local churches that will be doing follow up for the thousands of people that make commitments to Christ as a result of sharing the Gospel at the games.
Pray for the youth who are football/soccer fans and players that they would tune in to a game and take home more than just a good memory, but a deeper relationship with God.
Pray that believers will go home and prayer walk their neighborhoods and their streets.
Pray that God would help believers make the most of this opportunity to connect relationally with somebody who doesn’t know God yet and invite them to come watch a game at their home or go watch a party somewhere.
Pray for fun, fellowship and great relational connections to be made during the game.
Ask the Lord to help each believer be sensitive to God‘s prompting and timing to let those they have invited know how much their friend means to them.
Pray for millions of people to get saved or make some kind of a commitment to Christ… and for them to have a desire to attend a local church. Pray for every church in the world to grow as a result of these outreach and evangelism efforts connected with the activities of the World Cup games.
Pray the Holy Spirit would move in millions of Christian‘s hearts, giving them a desire to find someone that doesn’t know Christ yet and to reach them during this time with intentional outreach.
Pray the Holy Spirit will also work in the hearts and minds of people who don’t know Christ yet so they will respond positively to an invitation from a believer to watch a game with them.
Pray that 1 million youth and children will get saved through the World Cup outreach projects and activities.
Pray that God will bring creativity and inspiration to believers as we relationally connect with people.
Pray believers will be generous and loving, offering genuine care for others.
